What we make
Each daily puzzle gives you a seven-word chain with five missing words. Every neighboring pair forms a phrase or compound word. The first letter and length of each missing word help you get started, and the finished board explains every connection.
There is also a separate practice collection for when one chain is not enough. Practice puzzles cycle after you have seen the collection; they do not affect your daily streak.
How answers are selected
We review full chains and their connected phrases before publishing them. An additional complete chain is accepted only after review; launch puzzles each have one reviewed solution. Listed spelling variants may be accepted. If an entry is not included, that does not make it an invalid English word.
